Every Millennial knows ‘Space Jam.’
The crossover film featured NBA superstar Michael Jordan and the Looney Tunes playing a basketball game against the Monstars. This crazy idea went on to become a box-office hit and has become a cult classic.
There is a rumored ‘Space Jam 2’ lingering in production.
As of right now, Fast & Furious director Justin Lin is working on Space Jam 2 with current NBA superstar LeBron James.
However, one Twitter user suggested the remake ‘Space Jam’ with anime characters.
remake space jam but instead of michael jordan it's michael b. jordan and instead of looney tunes it's anime

Michael B. Jordan does have a connection to Space Jam – he played Michael Jordan’s son in the movie.

Instead of having LeBron James and the Looney Tunes balling out, it should star Michael B. Jordan and a slew of anime characters. Popular heroes like Saitama of One Punch Man and Luffy of One Piece are featured, with our new otaku celeb Jordan in the middle. We also wager a guess that they’ll face off against the stars of Kuroko no Basket or Slam Dunk.
An anime-inspired Space Jam could be a fun, strange turn for the movie, even if it’s just a fan creation. Which anime characters would you love to see on the basketball court?
