TATSUKI and anime studio Yaoyorozu, both of which were involved with Kemono Friends, announced that their newest TV anime will be Kemurikusa. The sci-fi series is based on 2012 short anime TATSUKI previously worked on. Broadcast and staff details will be shared at a later time.

Kemurikusa is a science fiction series that follows a group of girls fighting entities called mushi while trying to survive in a world of red fog. The short won the 24th CG Anime Contest in 2012 and it can be viewed on TATSUKI’s irodori Youtube channel.
Kemurikusa caps off an event few week for TATSUKI. His Hentatsu anime short, which is being made as a hobby, earned over 1 million views across Nico Nico and Youtube. Shortly after Hentatsu, it was announced that the Keifuku-san anime DVD topped Amazon’s best-seller list and that Amazon can’t keep up with orders.
