Ryo Suzukaze and Satoshi Shiki’s manga adaptation of Attack on Titan: Before the Fall has entered its final arc.
The manga adapts THORES and Suzukaze’s light novel, which is a spin-off that takes place 70 years before Attack on Titan. A group of cultists allowed a Titan to wreck havoc inside the walls. After the event, two Survey Corps members are shocked to find a newborn baby in a pile of Titan vomit – leading to him to be labeled as “The Titan’s Son.” At the same time, Angel Aaltonen develops the Vertical Maneuvering Gear, which changes how humanity fights the Titans.
The original light novel ran for 13 chapters between 2011 and 2012. Shiki began adapting the story as a manga in 2013 and has since written 14 compiled volumes.
