Akame ga Kill! Zero

Akame ga Kill! ZERO is set years before the events of Akame ga Kill! It follows Akame’s brainwashing and training to serve as an assassin for the Empire.

Akame ga Kill! ZERO was launched in 2013 and ran concurrently with Akame ga Kill! until the original ended in 2016. Both series are licensed by Yen Press, with the company having recently published volume seven of Akame ga Kill! ZERO.

The original Akame ga Kill! was adapted into an anime in 2014, but it follows a different story during its second half. Currently, there has been no news about an adaptation of Akame ga Kill! ZERO.
