A mysterious plague known as “puberty syndrome” is going to assault TV screens this October with the adaptation of Seishun Buta Yaro wa Bunny Girl-senpai no Yume wo Minai.
The original light novel series is written by Hajime Kamoshida and drawn by Keeji Mizoguchi – the same duo was behind The Pet Girl of Sakurasou.
Seishun Buta Yaro centers around a phenomenon called “puberty syndrome,” which causes certain people to disappear. Mai Sakurajima, who is a teenage actress that is on a hiatus, finds herself unseen by those around her. However, Sakuta Azusagawa is able to see Mai as a bunny girl. In fact, he can see other girls that are afflicted with puberty syndrome. This causes Sakuta and Mai to investigate this mystery and perhaps learn about each other’s emotions.
The anime’s production staff wasn’t revealed, but Kadokawa announced that Kaito Ishikawa will voice Sakuta, Asami Seto will voice Mai, and Yurika Kubo will voice Kaede Azusagawa. More details about the adaptation will be shared at a later time.
