The staff that adapted No Game No Life is working on an original project! A Place Further Than The Universe (Uchuu Yorimo Toi Basho) follows a group of high school girls on an Antartic expedition and it will debut this January.

Kadokawa revealed the main voice cast:

Inori Minase (Hestia in Danmachi) as Mari Tamaki.A Place Further Than the Universe

A second-year high school student with a sunny disposition. Although she is admired by her friends, Mari has a hard time fitting in and being a leader. Mari has trouble conquering her fears which prevents her from accomplishing her goals.

 

Kana Hanazawa (Nadeko Sengoku in Monogatari) as Shirase Kobuchizawa.A Place Further Than the Universe

A classmate of Mari’s. Shirase is admired for her beautiful hair but is terrible at making friends. Whenever Shirase speaks, she comes off as icy and misunderstood.

 

Yuka Iguchi (Crusch Karsten in Re:Zero) as Hinata Miyake.A Place Further Than the Universe

A high school drop-out brimming with curiosity and hates boredom. Hinata is a natural born leader who can easily make friends and manage various responsibilities.

 

Saori Hayami (Miyuki Shiba in The Irregular at Magic High School) as Yuzuki Shiraishi.A Place Further Than the Universe

A first-year high school student and child actor. Yuzuki’s busy work schedule has left her cynical and emotionally mature compared to her peers. Despite being outwardly polite, Yuzuki is always unhappy and lacks friends.

Crunchyroll announced that they licensed during this past Anime Expo. A concrete debut date will be revealed at a later time.
