‘My Hero Academia’ to Show All-Might’s Prime This August

A stage presentation at AnimeJapan 2018 revealed new tantalizing details on My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: The Two Heroes, which will open in Japanese theaters on August 3rd.

The Two Heroes is an original story that takes place during the upcoming “Forest Training Arc” in season 3. The film will showcase Class 1-A traveling overseas to a floating movable city called I•Island during “another summer trip.”

Oh, and the film will dive into the younger days of All-Might. Judging by the key visual, it’ll highlight All-Might’s prime and how he became the world’s top hero.

Manga creator Kouhei Horikoshi is supervising the project with Yousuke Kuroda returning to write the movie’s script. In fact, the staff and cast from the previous two seasons are all reprising their roles at Bones.
