5Btooom!

Btooom! pairs B-grade schlock with a great duo in Ryouta and Himiko. The biggest flaw is the short episode count, so fans will have to switch to manga after the end credits roll.

Bokurano is great if you’re in the mood for feeling depressing! It’s a twisted game that has children piloting a mecha to defend earth against alien invaders. The anime and manga do diverge, with the manga being even more depressing.
