‘World Trigger’ Resumes After a 21-Month Hiatus

Daisuke Ashihara is ready to continue World Trigger! He put the manga on hold for 21 months due to his poor health, which includes severe neck pain and a variety of sudden illnesses. Ashihara drew a celebratory illustration, which includes a message saying that he will be more careful about his health going into the future.

World Trigger will resume in Weekly Shonen Jump on October 29 and run for five weeks before being transferred to Jump SQ, which will put the manga on a new monthly schedule.

World Trigger is an action sci-fi series that follows the members of Border, an organization dedicated to protecting humanity from invading monsters called Neighbors. The members use powerful weapons called Triggers to repel the Neighbors, leading to a shaky four-year peace. Everything changes when trainee Osamu meets a powerful humanoid Neighbor named Yuuma.
