The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai) is getting a new anime season!
The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods (Nanatsu no Taizai: Kamigami no Gekirin) will debut this fall, and will serve as a bridge to the story’s climax. That’s right, the production committee also made a pseudo-announcement that another season will come out after Wrath of the Gods.
But that’s not all! Studio DEEN will be replacing A-1 Studios, which produced the previous two season, the Signs of the Holy War ONA, and the Prisoners of the Sky movie.
If that wasn’t enough, it’s also been confirmed that an all-new staff will work on the season. Susume Nishizawa, who worked as a storyboard artist on Revival of the Commandments, is the new director. Rintarou Ikeda (Love and Lies / Love Tyrant) is the new screenwriter and Rie Nishino (Fruits Basket remake key animation) is working on the setting. Hiroyuki Sawano, Kohta Yamamoto, and Takafumi Wada will return to compose the soundtrack.
Don’t worry, the main voice cast will reprise their roles for this new season!
So far, all of the previous seasons except for the movie are exclusively on Netflix.
