A new trailer has been released for Angels of Death (Satsuriku no Tenshi), which is based on an indie horror game. The anime is being produced by J.C. Staff and it will debut on July 6.
Angels of Death follows Rachel, a 13-year-old girl who wakes up in an abandoned building with no memories. Lost and dizzy, she discovers a man covered in bandages. He is a serial killer named Zack, but he doesn’t know why he is there. The two form a strange bond and promise to help each other to escape the building…and life.
Angels of Death is a “psycho horror” video game and manga franchise. The video game is an episodic indie project that consists of four chapters.
The manga, which is licensed by Yen Press, is an adaptation by writer Makoto Sanada (Kirisame ga Furu Mori) and artist Kudan Naduka (Noushou Sakuretsu Girl). It is currently running in Kadokawa’s Comic Gene, which is an action-oriented shoujo magazine. Angels of Death has been collected into 5 volumes, but only one chapter has been published since 2016.
