Kohei Horikoshi‘s manga has also been a big success thanks to blending Japanese and American hero tropes together. The series follows Izuku “Deku” Midoriya, a boy born without a Quirk. He’s treated as an outcast for not having a power, but his life changes after meeting his idol All Might. Now possessing the powerful All For One quirk, Izuku pursues his dream of becoming a top hero while attending U.A. High School.
