‘Himouto! Umaru-chan’ Manga Will End in 3 Weeks

Everyone’s favorite (or hated) otaku sister is about to leave our lives. Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump revealed that the Himouto! Umaru-chan will end in three weeks in the magazine’s 50th issue. But don’t fret, because the magazine also said that they’ll have a “follow-up report” that same issue!

Himouto! Umaru-chan

Sankaku Head’s Himouto! Umaru-chan has been serialized since 2013 and has 3 million copies in print! The series follows Umaru Doma, who appears to be the perfect high school student. However, there is a secret only her older brother knows: Umaru is an extreme otaku! Umaru can be a little bratty while in otaku mode, but she and her brother learn how to work things out.

Himouto! Umaru-chan has been popular enough to inspire a two-season anime season produced by Doga Kobo. Season two is currently airing. The manga also has three spin-off series.
