Hiro Mashima is in the spotlight after the global debut of EDENS ZERO, but his Fairy Tail series is still getting some love! Two new spin-offs were formally revealed today. Mashima is serving as the supervisor, but a pair of new mangaka will be working on the titles.
The first spin-off is tentatively titled Fairy Tail City Hero, which is being written and drawn by Ushio Ando. No story details were shared, but it’s set for serialization this fall.

Mashima also teased that he’ll be sharing details on his Fairy Tail sequel spinoff soon. He first revealed the project in April and has only stated that it will take place after the main story, but that it should be regarded as a spinoff.
Besides EDENS ZERO and Fairy Tail Zokuhen, Mashima still has a secret project that hasn’t been revealed yet. Saw what you will about his story quality, but the man loves to work.
