Hayao Miyazaki’s ‘Kemushi no Boro’ CGI Short to Debut in March

Hayao Miyazaki’s long-awaited Boro the Caterpillar (Kemushi no Boro) short finally has a release date! It will debut exclusively at the Studio Ghibli Museum on March 21, and it will be his latest anime since 2013’s The Wind Rises (Kaze Tachinu).

Kemushi no Boro

Miyazaki wrote and directed the 14 minutes short, which is also his first all CGI anime. Kemushi no Boro is about a freshly hatched caterpillar taking his first steps into the world.

Kemushi no Boro was originally scheduled for a July 2017 debut but was delayed. Studio Ghibli will begin selling advance tickets on February 10 and will screen the short until August 31.
