Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans is coming back with a new, unconventional story. Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans: Urðr-Hunt will combine anime and gaming elements in an interactive app.
The freemium app follows Wistario Afam, a boy born and raised in the Radonitsa Colony above Venus. The remote planet is used to exile criminals due to losing a terraforming race with Mars. Afam, who inherited the management company Afam Equipment, wishes to change the colony’s status quo after hearing about Tekkadan’s exploits. A strange girl named Korunaru Kosa claims that she can guide Afam to the Urðr-Hunt to make his dream come true.
The staff from the original Iron-Blooded Orphans will produce the animated segments of Urðr-Hunt. Sunrise and Bandai Namco Entertainment will release the app in Japan for Android and iOS devices. There is no word of an international release.
