Series creator NisiOisen revealed that the Bakemonogatari manga will launch in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine on March 14. The manga’s artist has not been revealed.
Bakemonogatari is the first book in NisiOisen’s long-running urban fantasy series. The book stars Koyomi Araragi, a loner with a supernatural secret. One day, he finds classmate Hitagi Senjougahara falling into his arms and learns that she is weightless. Hitagi reluctantly tells Koyomi her problem, who revolves to solve it.
Bakemonogatari was first published in 2006 and was adapted into an anime by Shaft in 2009.
