Tora no Ana is a retailer that offers all kinds of doujinshi that you can buy while visiting Akihabara, but they have been branched out their services lately.
Last year, they launched an otaku dating service so that anime fans with lonely hearts can hook up. Now, they are dabbling in the VR sector.
Later this year, Tora no Ana hopes to launch a virtual relaxation center in Akihabara. The hope is that tired otaku will stop in, slide on a VR headset, and enjoy a massage from a cute anime girl. Of course, a licensed massage therapist will be giving the rub down.
You’ll be whisked away to a quiet room as an anime girl rubs your feet and shoulders. Questions will be asked, which can be answered using a handheld controller. Tora no Ana even boasts that new conversations and “story elements” will occur during successive visits.
A demonstration was held showcasing Yui Hanasaka from One Room providing the foot rubs. Two original characters drawn by Rouka will be available around launch.
If the art is anything to go by, VR Relaxation looks to provide a little bit of sexual excitement. The characters blush, giggle, and wear tastefully sexy clothes. However, Tora no Ana is forward in saying that you’ll most likely get a massage from a man. In fact, the even have a warning poster.
Or, is this just a bonus? Who wouldn’t want a massage from a cute anime girl with strong, mannish hands?
