The creators of YuruYuri and Yuki Yuna is a Hero are teaming up for an original anime.
Release the Spyce is an upcoming action that follows a group of high school girls that work as agents for the private intelligence agency Tsukikage. Momo works in secret to keep the city of Sorasaki safe while studying under her senior Yuki.
The anime’s cast will feature:
- Yukari Anzai as Momo Minamoto
- Manami Numakura as Yuki Hanzouman
- Aya Suzak as Mei Yachiyo
- Akane Fujita as Fuu Sagami
- Aya Uchida as Hatsume Aoba
- Yuri Noguchi as Goe Ishikawa
Release the Spyce will be Akira Satou’s directorial debut and Yuki Yuna is a Hero creator Takahiro is writing the scripts. YuruYuri creator Namori is designing the cast and SORASAKI.F is credited for the original work. Studio Lay-duce (Classroom Crisis / Magi: Adventure of Sinbad) will produce the animation.
Release the Spyce will debut this October.
