Writer Fumiaki Maruto and artist Kurehito launched the rom-com light novel series in July 2012 and ended it on October 2017. The story stars Tomoya Aki, an otaku who spends his part-time earnings buying anime. While on his way home from vacation, Tomoya bumps into a beautiful girl. He eventually models the heroine of his doujin game after her, only to be surprised that she is his classmate, Megumi. With the help of an art club member and an honor student, Tomoya creates a doujin circle “Blessing Software.” The goal is to get his doujin game finished in time for Comiket, but the members have to come to terms with their emotions first.
