The ReLIFE anime is getting a final arc! It’s going to be a 4 episode OVA series and it will be released on home video in March 2018.

ReLIFE

TMS Entertainment is producing the finale, which will pick up after the 13 episode of the first season. They did not state if the finale is going to be an anime-original arc or if it will be based on the manga.

ReLIFE is a drama series the centers around Arata Kaizaki, an unemployed 27-year-old man who has been cut off from his parents’ financial support. After a night of drinking, Arata meets a man who claims to have pills that offer a chance for Arata to redo his life. Agreeing to partake in an experiment, the pills turn Arata into 17-year-old and he joins a high school to re-live his third-year. The experiment will only last for a year, allowing Arata to find new happiness so he can live a happy life.

TMS Entertainment produced a 13-episode season during the Summer 2016 season. The anime is notable in that all of the episodes were released on the same day on the Comico App. The original staff and voice cast (minus co-writer Michiko Yokote) will return for the final arc.
