During a lecture on December 17th that is being hosted by Ikebukuro Community College, mangaka Moyoco Anno, known for works like Sugar Sugar Rune and Flowers and Bees, will be talking about a new manga series that she will be releasing in 2013. In addition to discussing it, Anno will also reveal the title and the first chapter for her new project.
Some of Anno's other works have been released by various North American manga publishers. Flowers and Bees was released by Viz Media, Happy Mania was released by Tokyopop, Sugar Sugar Rune was published by Del Rey, and Sakuran has just recently been released by Vertical.
In addition to creating manga, Anno has also designed characters for the Cutie Honey live-action adaptation of her husband's (Hideaki Anno) work that was released to DVD by Bandai Entertainment.
On a personal note, I'm pretty excited about the unveiling. Anno's drawing style is really pretty, which is what I like the most. It will be exciting seeing the character designs and the story line. Who else is just a little bit excited for the new series?
