Tari Tari is one of P.A. Works’ early projects. It’s a coming-of-age story about a group of high schoolers who are drawn together by the power of music. You’ll laugh, cry, and sing along to the tunes!
It’s also getting a sequel in the form of a novel. P.A. Works is publishing the novel, which is written by the anime’s screenwriter Masakazu Hashimoto. The story is set ten years after the anime, with the former members of the Shirahamazaka High School choir reuniting to create a new song. Joining them is a high school student named Yukine.
This will be the third P.A. Works anime to receive a novel. True Tears is currently having a novelization and Kuromukuro received a novel sequel earlier this year.
Chapters of Tari Tari ~Mebaitari Terashitari Yappari Tokidoki Utattari~ will be published online every 1st and 15th of every month. The series will debut on August 1st.
