‘Noragami’ Manga Returns in June After a 14-Month Hiatus

Kodansha announced that mangaka duo Adachitoka will resume working on Noragami. The manga went on hiatus in May 2017 so that one of the Adachitoka members could recover from an illness.

The manga’s first new chapter will be published on June 6, and to celebrate, Noragami will be featured on the cover of the July issue of Monthly Shonen Magazine.

Adachitoka launched Noragami in December 2010 and the duo has released 18 volumes of the series. The story follows Yato, a minor god of calamity who is homeless due to lacking a shrine and followers. In order to establish his own shrine, Yato charges five yen to perform tasks for people. He encounters a girl named Hiyori Iki, whose soul frequently slips out of her body, and a wandering spirit named Yukine. Yato offers to return Hiyori back to normal…but for a price.

Noragami

Studio Bones has adapted Noragami into a two-season anime series. Season one aired in Winter 2014 and season two aired in Fall 2015.
