Kadokawa also announced that Steins;Gate 0 will get a manga and a light novel adaptation. Taka Himeno (Grisaia no Kajitsu: L’Oiseau bleu) will produce the manga, which will begin serialization on August 4 in Young Ace. Details about the light novel will be shared at a later date, but it will be published in Sneaker Bunko.
Finally, the first Steins;Gate anime will be rebroadcast in Japan this October.
Steins;Gate 0 is a sequel to Steins;Gate. Tired of being a failure, Okabe gives up on being a mad scientist in a ploy to forget the past. Just when Okabe’s life seems to become normal, he meets a neuroscientist named Maho, who tells him about an artificial intelligence system she is working on. Okabe agrees to become a tester, but the simulations produced bring back painful memories and lead to new tragedies.
