‘JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Vento Aureo’ Gets an Anime this Fall

It’s time to start working on your posing skills because JoJo’s Bizarre Aventure: Vento Aureo is getting an anime! The best part? You only have to wait until October for its debut, or you can visit Tokyo’s Anyerri Hall on July 5th for a special screening.

The industry’s worst kept secret was teased a few days ago on the wraparound jacket of Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan. Series creator Hirohiko Araki took the stage during a fan event to announce the news.

David Production is returning to animate the series, with Yasuhiro Kimura (Sansha Sanyou) and Hideya Takahashi (Keijo!!!!!!!!) will co-direct it. Naokatsu Tada will serve as the chief director and Yasuko Kobayashi will return to write the scripts.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Vento Auro follows Giorno Giovanna, who is Dio Brando’s long-lost son. While living in Naples, he decides to infiltrate the Passione mafia family to reform the group into honorable thieves. However, the criminal underworld is far more deadly thanks to the proliferation of Stand users.
