The Fate community’s prayers have been answered! Aniplex Japan announced that they will be releasing Fate/Grand Order in the United States for Android and iOS devices.  With the help of Aniplex of America, the game will be released this summer and will include the original Japanese voices with subtitles.

Fate/Grand Order was first released in Japan in 2015 and has become one of the most popular mobile games in the country. The game features an original story that puts the player in the role of a Master who is tasked with creating a team of Servants with the task of saving humanity.

Over 150 servants will be introduced at launch, though most of them will be behind a “gacha” paywall. Gacha is a popular system used in Japanese mobile games and it’s similar to a slot system. You buy in-game currency and use it to activate the gacha, which unlocks a Servant based on chance. Higher priced gachas have a better chance of returning premium and rare Servants.

Fate/Grand Order also inspired a TV special, titled Fate/Grand Order: First Order.
