Explore Everyday Japanese Culture with Maro the Cosplay Cat

Japan is a culture that tries to preserve and respect it’s traditions. That’s helped the island nation attract 24.03 million international tourists in 2016 to it’s tea ceremonies, bullet trains, and unique Japanese festivals.

Now the owner of a tabby cat named Maro is using Instagram and cosplay to educate the world about different Japanese traditions and the everyday happenings in the country, like the birth of a new panda at Ueno Zoo.

 

Japanese food culture is a popular focus in the feed ranging from modern delights to the traditional cuisine of Japan called washoku. It’s no surprise that people love to learn about Japanese food considering that Japan has the most three-star Michelin restaurants in the world.
