Attack on Titan Season 3 was confirmed after the airing of season 2, but this is the first time the staff has shared a release window. Most of the second season’s staff and voice cast will return, but chief animation director Ayumi Yamada is not listed as a returning staff member.

The new key visual teases that season 3 will adapt The Uprising arc, which details a conspiracy between the Titans’ true nature and a coup d’état against the government.

Attack on Titan: The Roar of the Awakening (Shingeki no Kyojin: Kakusei no Houkou) is the compilation film and will cover all of season 2. Attack on Titan Season 2 aired last spring, which adapted the “Assualt on Stohess” and “Clash of the Titans” arcs.

The Attack on Titan: Lost Girls spin-off manga is also getting a series of OVAs that will be released on December 9, 2017 to August 9, 2018. It’s a big year for Attack on Titan anime fans, and there will be plenty of content to experience!
